Five Days of Learning, Connection & Experience
In 2027, the Tri-State Eating Disorder Conference offers five days of learning, reflection and connection, with flexible options to attend individual days or multiple days.
Days One through Four, April 13–16, are offered in person and virtually. Day Five, April 17, is an in-person experiential workshop. Join us at the University of Southern Indiana in Evansville.
Day One
Beyond the Meal Plan: Exploring the Complexities of Eating Disorder Treatment
Join nationally recognized dietitians for a full day exploring the emotional, relational, and nutritional dimensions of eating disorder care. Topics will include neurodivergence, ARFID, therapeutic relationships, weight stigma, and more.
Led by dietitians, designed for all professionals involved in eating disorder treatment.
Day Two
Choose from one of two full-day experiences.
Medical & Nutritional Issues in Eating Disorder Care
This track will focus on important and evolving issues in eating disorder care. Jennifer Gaudiani, MD, will join us, along with multidisciplinary conversations on binge eating disorder and weight stigma, GLP-1 medications, ARFID, and other timely issues in our field.
Introduction to Internal Family Systems & Eating Disorders
Marcella Cox, LMFT, CEDS-S, will lead a full-day introduction to IFS, exploring the foundations of the model and how an IFS lens can deepen our understanding and treatment of eating disorders.
Main Conference
Looking Beneath the Eating Disorder
This year, we are creating space for conversations that do not always receive enough attention in our field. We will explore trauma and Complex PTSD, secrets, lived experience, therapeutic interventions, the impact of social media and our rapidly changing digital world, and the many different ways people experience eating disorders and recovery.
We will make room for what often goes unspoken or is difficult to put into words, while looking more deeply at what may be happening beneath the eating disorder.

We are especially honored to welcome Dr. Kathryn Zerbe, who will deliver our keynote and receive the Tri-State Eating Disorder Conference Lifetime Achievement Award.
The agenda and speaker lineup are continuing to unfold, bringing together perspectives from across disciplines and voices of lived experience.
Experiential IFS Post-Conference Workshop
An experiential day focused on turning some of the attention inward.
Marcella Cox, Jeanne Catanzaro, and Theresa Chesnut will close the week with guided meditation, experiential exercises, reflection, self-care, and connection.
Together, we will have space to work with parts of ourselves that may have surfaced during the conference, integrate the week, and connect with ourselves and one another before heading home.
Day Five is not available as a standalone registration option.
